According to latest reports, the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited will be providing nine advanced life-saving ambulances for emergency medical services to the medical colleges in Assam. These nine advanced ambulances will be provided to the top medical colleges of Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Silchar, Tezpur, Guwahati, Barpeta, Lakhimpur, Diphu and Tinsukia.
According to further reports , on the occasion of its valedictory ceremony of platinum jubilee celebrations , these ambulances will be flagged off at the Assam Medical College and Hospital premises .
The ceremony will be attended by Assam’s chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and natural gas and labour and employment Rameswar Teli who will flag off the ambulances at the Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh.
These advanced ambulances will include a wide range of equipment for pre-hospital care, including transport ventilators, defibrillator, suction apparatus, nebulizer and oxygen supply.
