As per recent reports the Assam Cabinet has approved of three more flyovers in Guwahati.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced about it at a press conference held at Silchar after the cabinet meeting which was held for the first time at Barak Valley.
As per further reports the one flyover will be constructed in front of Down Town Hospital, one at Kumarpara and Fatasil Ambari.
According to the chief minister the DPR will be prepared for the flyovers and it will likely take one year time to prepare the same.
It needs to mention that the special State Cabinet meeting conducted by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma was held for the first time at Silchar, the principal town of Barak Valley.
The Assam Government had notified establishment of its Mini Secretariat at Silchar for three districts of Barak valley on 19th February, 2021 to bring the government at the doorstep of the people.
Earlier the CoM had decided to start the Mini Secretariat in Barak Valley (Silchar) with six departments: Personnel, R &DM, GAD, Agriculture, Fisheries, AH&V Dept.
