Agartala is all set to have the Asia’s Largest Fountain . The largest fountain is ready to be installed in the city by January 2023. According to reports the fountain will come up as a part of the Agartala Smart City Limited (ASCL) project . It will be 120 metres in length.
Dr. Shailesh Kumar Yadav ,ASCL Mission Director & Chief Executive Officer said that they have taken another project in Ujjayanta Palace. The fund was sanctioned by Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The ASCL CEO added that as per the initiative in this project, a fountain will be installed which will be Asia’s largest fountain with a height of 120 meters and the work is expected to be completed by January 2023.
The Agartala Smart City Limited Mission Director & Chief Executive Officer further also briefed about the advancement of other projects in Agartala.
It is mentioned that the total amount stands at Rs 372 crore for the Agartala Smart City Limited project and out of this, works worth Rs 342 crore has been completed so far.
